These are our...
'What do we like?' flowers and bees.
Mrs Blau asked us each to tell her some of our favourite things and she wrote them on our flowers and bees.  Mrs Blau learnt a lot about us while we were telling her some of our favourite things to do, play, and eat.

Some of us like to play inside, some prefer out-door games.  Some of us like lego and others like the computer.  Some of us like reading and watching TV, while some of us love to draw and paint. Some of us like to collect things and some like nature and animals. Some of us like pizza and others like ice-cream. We are all different and our interests, likes and favourite things make us unique and interesting.

We used dye to add colour to our pictures - doesn't it make them bright and beautiful?

Fine Motor and Handwriting - Week 3

Fine-motor Activities
Today we got to work with the threading beads.
Threading helps our little finger muscles get very strong.  Our little finger muscles need to be strong, so that we can be super fabulous hand-writers.

Our letter shape today was the 'tall stick'

 Oh the concentration!

Threading, threading, threading...
Look what we made and our little muscles are feeling a little bit stronger!
We are using our Casey Caterpillar handwriting books
Practice makes perfect
I did it! I have practiced all my tall sticks!

Brenna's wonderful colouring of this weeks class Poem

This week our class poem is
My Cat
Everyone did such a great job of reading, colouring and pasting their poems into their poem books.

We did try using a very cool app that would record Brenna reading her poem, but unfortunately the site was having some technical issues, so we will record it next week. Thank you Brenna for being so patient.
I love your cat's stripey tail, very colourful indeed :)
